The Siskiyou Scenic Bicycle Tour will be May 18th and 19th this year- 2 weeks later than last year.
On the 18th there are 4 all pavement rides- 104, 67, 40 and 21 miles. The 104 mile ride is the old traditional Siskiyou Century from years past- going into Scott Valley, with 6.003 vertical feet of elevation gain. It’s challenging but a beautiful ride. The 67 mile ride will be the same route as last year, but will go in the opposite direction, with 2,302 vertical feet. I have done this both ways, and I prefer what we will be doing this time. The 40 and 21 mile rides are unchanged. 1,534 vertical ft and 1,054 vertical ft.
On the 19th there are 2 mostly gravel rides, 62 miles with 6,473 vertical feet, and a 39 miler with 4,114 vertical feet. Both very challenging, but great fun!
As always there will be multiple rest stops, sag wagon support, and an end of ride meal. The rides start and finish at Upper Greenhorn Park in Yreka.
